Travis (TJ) Dye

TJ first discovered Popdarts on social media and instantly knew he had to try the game. In June of 2023 he was gifted his first set and fell in love with the game. After that first set, TJ was on a mission to collect every color set they released and introduce everyone to the game. The seeds were planted then to one day start a league.

Fast forward to 2025. Popdarts was a game night staple. So many family and friends were introduced but there were no official leagues anywhere near by. Summer of 2025, Popdarts had their first official championship and announced the creation of the American Popdarts League (APL). TJ made it his goal that he would create Tennessee's first club.

November 7th 2025 that became reality and Pop Knox hosted their 1st event.

Gabrielle first discovered Popdarts after her husband wouldn't stop talking about it. In June of 2023 she was the one who purchased that first set that set everything in motion.

From the time that first set was purchased, Gabrielle encouraged everyone to give the game a try. Every event she attended she encouraged others to try Popdarts.

Gabrielle has been essential in making Pop Knox a success. Making sure events run smoothly. She single handedly runs registration and matches thru the Scoreholio app. Making sure everything goes off without a hitch while others can referee games.

Dalton Ervin

Commissioner

Dalton was first introduced to Popdarts when TJ brought them to work to show off during a work potluck. He instantly showed a knack for the game quickly picked up on scoring and technique.

He was excited for Pop Knox as it was first being announced. He attended the very first event and has not missed one yet. He very quickly became a sounding board for the creative process and helped shape the direction in which Pop Knox has grown.

Over the course of the first few events, Dalton quickly began to step in and help explain the game to new comers, make referee calls, and generally assist with anything needed during the events.

Kaitlynn Ervin

Deputy Director

Kaitlynn attended the first Pop Knox event with the idea of just being a spectator. Some peer pressure from TJ, Dalton, and her friends got her to try it out and she has been hooked ever since.

She has done a lot this season to help make sure it grows and runs smoothly. Just like Dalton she became a sounding board giving feedback for creative ideas. She helps with set up and tear down at every event. She has also brought the second most new players this season.

She has really come along way from spectator to deputy director in just a short season, tackling everything we throw her way.
